The town of Aspen is surrounded on 3 sides by Aspen Mountain, Smuggler Mountain and Red Mountain. Aspen is home to three ski mountains – Aspen Mountain and Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk Ski Areas.

 

Snowmass Village is a former ranching community turned destination resort 8 miles away from Aspen. This quaint village nestled in the Brush Creek valley features an astounding array of recreation opportunities. The Snowmass Ski Area is the largest of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains, bigger than the other three mountains combined!
